How do we purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online or you can reserve your space by calling Manumission Tour Company directly at (703) 719 - 2150. You may also purchase tickets the Alexandria Visitor Center at Ramsey House, located at 221 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.

Should I tip my guide after the tour?

Our guides earn their living teaching local history one step at a time would greatly appreciate any generosity you may share. If for some reason, you don’t enjoy the tour or your guide, do not feel obligated to tip and please contact us at your earliest convenience to let us know. We strive to create an engaging experience for all of our guests.

What if it rains?

Tours will go on rain or shine unless there are severe conditions (bring your umbrellas and ponchos if bad weather is predicted). Feel free to call us (703) 719 - 2150 or email us at info@manumissiontours.com if you have any concerns.

What is the cancellation policy?

Reservations can be changed up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time by emailing us at info@manumissiontours.com or call us at (703) 719 - 2150. Reservations cannot be changed within 48 hours of the tour’s scheduled start time. Reservations cancelled within the 48-hour threshold are considered no-shows and are non-refundable.
